SAIs were requested to indicate whether they develop their application software in-house, with the help of external agencies or through a combination of both.
SAIs were also asked to state whether they had any prescribed process and guidelines for development of application software.
As shown, majority of SAIs do not have a prescribed process or guidelines for software development.
